Summary: This book is about a girl named Mckenna and she is a gymnast .Mckenna  gets to a point where she gets a bad injury and has to recover for the national team .She also has trouble in school and has to get a tutor and she doesn't want her best friend Tulane to know that she has a tutor .Then her and Tulane have a fight because Mckenna lied to her about having a tutor.Meanwhile in the story mckenna has a breakdown and gets super upset and does not want to be a gymnast anymore.Will Mckenna still be a gymnast?Will she also still be friends with Tolane?Well, you can read Mckenna Shoots For The Stars to find out .


Reviewer’s Opinion:I love this book because it’s published by American Girl and they make great books.I also think that they are good for kids in 5th grade because they are very interesting and attention grabbing books to read.

Summary: Geronimo Stilton is a very adventures mouse but he can be very clumsy sometimes.He works for the Rodent's Gazette as a newspaper publisher and lives in New Mouse City .The main characters in the story Geronimo Stilton,Thea,Trap,and Benjamin and they are all funny.Then their Aunt Sweetfur comes over and tells them about how her husband which was a captain on the ship .They go for a long long trip to find the buried treasure .Along the way they get their treasure but then these other mice try to help them but they were actually trying to steal his treasure diamonds and gold doubloons.They are out for the search of the caption. Will they find him? Will they get their treasure ?

Reviewer’s Opinion: I love these books and they have great humor even though Geronimo can sometimes be a scaredy mouse:)

Summary: The book Alice  in Wonderland is about a girl named Alice.  She is sitting by a tree and she sees a  strange rabbit singing “ I’m late i'm very very late. “ Alice follows the rabbit and she falls into this hole. She is now in this house and the rabbit went through one of these three but she is bigger then the door. She sees many crazy things after she falls in the hole.  In one part,  she  saw some bread she was hungry so she had some and she shrunk.  Next, she was out of the house and saw a tea party and she met the Mad Hatter. Toward the end, these guards got her and brought her to the Queen of Hearts and she just had a long adventure. You can find out the rest in the book so go check it out.

Summary: This book is about two sisters named Raina and Amara who get totally annoyed with each other. They have to spend an entire week in their mom’s car to go visit their cousins in Colorado. They stop at so many stops and get in many fights. Finally, when they get to Colorado, Amara and Raina feel left out from their big cousins and little ones. What do they do? They become best friends, or hate each other again?


Reviewer’s Opinion: I loved this book because it was so descriptive I felt like I was one of the characters.

Summary: When Raina was coming home from her Girl Scouts meeting she fell and lost her two front teeth. She then had to go to the dentist a lot.she got these two fake teeth and they put on braces on her. Raina  was really embarrassed to wear all these different things like the fake teeth embarrassing headgear and braces.

Reviewer’s Opinion:This is a really good book and I love the author because she makes a lot of comics.
